Internships
VISION.
To train and develop in Christians the heart and ministry of a follower of Jesus Christ.
The Cause Internship is an exciting combination of teaching, training and on-the-job participation that focuses on life-changing principles with spiritual growth and personal transformation as a high priority.
FOCUS:
– The Heart of a minister
– The Heart of ministry
– The Heart and Life of servant leadership
CLASSROOM AND WORK SESSIONS:
Classroom and Work sessions will be led by pastors and ministry leaders. Sessions are generally held on Sunday evenings and some Saturday mornings. Interns are expected to attend all class sessions as these are a vital part of the life training.
READING ASSIGNMENTS:
Reading assignments will further enhance the scope of understanding and training by learning what others have gone through in their pursuit of following Christ.
WORK SESSIONS:
The principle of work will be used to develop character, service and commitment.
DEEDS OF SERVICE:
Service opportunities will be provided both in the church and local community.
MINISTRY OPPORTUNITIES:
There will be opportunities to learn and practice ministry both in the classroom and in the live arena.
CHURCH-WIDE FUNCTIONS:
Interns will be expected to attend and participate at all major church events including church services. By taking part at these meetings or events, the Intern will have the opportunity to observe, help and gain many rich experiences in the rewarding work of living the Christian life.
SCHEDULE:
The Internship is a 9-month from September 25, 2023 through June 2024.
